Renault has launched special Kwid edition without any major changes to the mechanicals. Talking about interiors, there are some similar cosmetic changes that reflect the color schemes of the Marvel superheroes, and further equipment levels are with the top-spec RXT (O) trim, that includes a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation as standard.
This car is also expected to be the same, but design theme is different-The superhero edition. Its two engine options are – 0.8-litre and 1.0-litre. A 0.8-litre engine is a 3-cylinder unit produces a maximum of 53Bhp and 72 Nm and powerful 1.0-litre version produces a maximum of 67Bhp and 91 Nm.
The KWID superhero edition gets shined with a bright red paint scheme with gold decals on the sides, near the roof spoiler and an ‘Invincible’ badge on the rear door, gold touches in the headlamp and fog lamp housing, meant to copycat the superhero’s iconic arch reactor power source and his armor. Both models having the same Kwid Climber’s 13-inch alloy wheels
This will be one of these kind special edition vehicles in India. No automaker till now has launched a superhero comic theme based vehicle in the Indian market.
