Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018: (Rs. 5 – 8 Lakhs)

The pre-launch bookings have already started for the new third-gen Swift for an initial payment of Rs 11,000. It will be available in four variants L, V, Z and Z+, with both the petrol and diesel engines. It is likely to be equipped with the auto LED projector headlamps with DRLs, 15-inch machined alloys, LED tail lamps, and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink connectivity.
Specifications:
The specification in Maruti Suzuki Swift (Facelift) includes disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. As a standard, it will be featuring anti-lock braking system for efficient handling over wet and slippery surfaces.
Engine and Transmission:
This will be available in the standard 1.2 L petrol engine that can produce a power of 84 PS and also in 1.3 L diesel engine with 75 PS power. There will also be an option to choose between 5 – speed manual transmission unit and 6 – speed automatic transmission unit.
Space:
As compared to its previous model, the new swift have a lot more cabin space and boot space. There is a 28 % increase in boot space, which is no more than a big surprise for us. According to Maruti Suzuki, two people of 6 feet height can comfortably sit in the front and at the back, at the same time.
Interiors:
Maruti has added a nice touch to the swift, by integrating the new circular central AC vents along with big rotary controls for climate control. The driver seat is more comfortable now along with good under-thigh support and the side bolstering on the seat.
